2/15/2024 0 Comments Dell s3422dwg reviewIf you’re using a monitor with a 144 Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium, you’ll experience significantly less tearing and stuttering during your games. It’s a VA panel (for deeper blacks at the expense of motion performance), it has a 3440×1440 QHD resolution, and it’s HDR400 certified so you can play compatible games in HDR (albeit a very toned-down version of it). The 1800R has a deeper curve than rival displays like the Gigabyte G34WQC, but otherwise it’s fairly similar. The octagonal stand is the only distinguishing feature, though (though it does have a small blue light that shines down from the middle of the display onto the stand). ![]() Like many of Dell’s other gaming displays, the S3422DWG is unobtrusive, with a frameless bezel, a plain Dell logo along the bottom, and no RGB frills.
